While it might not seem a bad idea, the plain fact is that all the transactions done through that terminal will earn the providers of the machine an extra amount of cash by way of processing charges. Nothing in the world is free and there are going to be hidden costs in the fine print.
You might not stand to lose any money by going in for these free wireless credit card terminals. The gainer in the end will be the organizations that have leased out these machines to you. The word leased is being used, since their ad openly states that the free stuff is there only as long as you process the cards through them.
Well, you can get a free machine but you are bound with their processing charges and how much does that cost is a different story altogether.
